When my son plays in soccer tournaments, I want him to win.
I feel like I'm going against the tidal wave of parental niceness to even say such a thing, but it's true. I don't want him to just have fun or play safely. I want his team to win. And I hope every dad cheering from the sidelines for the other team feels the same way.

Sam Doonby, a mysterious, handsome drifter gets off a Greyhound bus in a small Texas town and finds work at Leroy’s Country/Blues Bar where his great musical talents make him very popular, especially with Laura, the beautiful but spoiled daughter of successful doctor Cyrus Reaper. Sam always seems to be in the right place at the right time to avert disasters befalling the town and its people until suspicion and jealousy drive folks to ask who he is and where he comes from. Even Laura starts to question him and then he disappears as quickly as he came and things start to go terribly wrong. His rejection results in a series of shocks for the whole town, and especially for the town's doctor as Cyrus’ past comes back to haunt him.

I saw Gran Turismo on the Playstation Portable (PSP) for a really good price on clearance. I wondered how well this Sony racing game made the transition to this hand held device. Ultimately I came away from the experience with the opinion - the PSP version of Gran Turismo is okay. It is not stellar, and it is not horrible. In the middle of the road on the dotted line.

Gas Guzzlers Extreme on the Personal Computer (PC) looks amazing. From the chickens, to the rocks, roads, and the cars. This is one stunningly good look game. But like those good looking cheerleaders in high school, there is not much substance behind the good looks. You can only look at something for so long. Eventually you have to interact.

He alone is the one who keeps peace between the Rats that live underground and maintain the aquifer and those who live above. He is the Deliverer. And when he goes missing, the task of Deliver falls to his son, sixteen-year-old Luca.
