The Lost Medallion trailer is a brief glimpse into this magical adventure slated for release in the Fall of 2012. Directed and produced by independent film maker Bill Muir, The Lost Medallion boasts a start-studded cast of up and coming teen actors along with industry veterans filmed entirely on location in Thailand; a truly breathtaking backdrop to this "Goonies meets Raiders of a Lost Ark" epic.

One day, Daniel Johnston visits a foster home to drop off some donations. There he is asked by one of the kids to tell the group a story. Looking around the room, Daniel uses items to help him make up a story about a powerful but lost medallion, four kids, an evil warrior and his army.

Daniel’s story begins on an island where archaeologist Dr. Michael Stone has looked for the lost medallion his entire life. His son Billy finds the medallion and through a spontaneous wish is taken back 200 years to a very different island.

There, the evil warrior Cobra gains the medallion. Billy and three other kids are forced to regain the medallion back from Cobra in order to protect the island and get Billy back home. Along the way, Billy and his friends find themselves jumping off waterfalls, avoiding dangerous traps, crossing the ocean at night, sneaking through dark caves, chased by warriors and eventually confronting Cobra himself who wants nothing more than to keep the medallion.

When the story is over, Daniel and the kid’s discover that their hearts have been changed by the story.
